Ideal candidates will live in the Dallas area to have easy access to the client sites located in surrounding geographies. However, ability and willingness to travel outside these geographies is necessary as projects dictate.

Duties & Responsibilities

This position entails the installation of Desktop/Laptop PC’s and Printers for a national roll-out for one of our clients. Under the direction of a Project Manager, you will be required to perform data migration from old equipment to new and confirm daily site completion via timely and accurate systemic call updates, electronic data transfers, and other data management in accordance with a predetermined schedule, documented processes and Statement of Work requirements. Written instructions will be provided by the client to see installations to completion. Additionally, you will be required to box equipment for shipment and complete required paperwork.

You will lead a team of systems administrators and engineers in their daily duties of fault resolution, requirements planning, engineering proposals, and equipment maintenance. You will provide day-to-day support for both classified and unclassified command networks in addition to supporting exercises and deployments, remote or deployed, while maintaining the basic garrison support requirements.

Required:
• You will need working knowledge of DNS, WINS, TCP/IP, networking concepts – routers, firewalls, gateways, and switching concepts.
• Knowledge of tools – ping/ipconfig/ tracert/nbtstat/telnet/nslookup/portqry – used to troubleshoot connectivity problems.
• Requires at least eight years recent hands on experience with Microsoft Client/Server operating systems and applications.
