  <description>&lt;strong&gt;Location:&lt;/strong&gt; Jacksonville, Florida&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Description:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&#9;&lt;p&gt;About the Job&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;BI Consultant&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;We are looking for a Developer/​Technical Lead, as well as a Senior Consultant, who will be responsible for designing coding and testing BI solutions using Microsoft &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SQL&lt;/span&gt; Server and related BI Tools.​ Our Developer/​ Technical Lead /​ Sr.​ Consultant will be key in delivering our consulting services to clients with in our Microsoft solution offerings.​ This role will serve as an expert in respective Microsoft solutions and help to build knowledge and expertise within our practice.​&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;BI experience and knowledge must include:&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Solid experience as a &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SQL&lt;/span&gt; Server 2005 BI developer&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        BI presentation delivery utilizing &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SQL&lt;/span&gt; Server Analysis Services (&lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SSAS&lt;/span&gt;), &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SQL&lt;/span&gt; Server Reporting Services (&lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SSRS&lt;/span&gt;) or other BI tools &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SQL&lt;/span&gt; Server 2005 &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;RDBMS&lt;/span&gt; database development including &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;TSQL&lt;/span&gt; programming.​&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SQL&lt;/span&gt; Server 2005 &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;OLAP&lt;/span&gt; database development including &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;MDX&lt;/span&gt; programming.​&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;ETL&lt;/span&gt; implementation using &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SQL&lt;/span&gt; Server Integration Services (&lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;SSIS&lt;/span&gt;)&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Migration of existing data warehouse and business intelligence from other BI platforms or earlier versions of the MS Platform&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Knowledge of the Kimball DW/​BI Design &amp; Implementation Methodologies&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Data modeling based on business requirements, and optimization of data models for business intelligence implementations&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10; &#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;This position requires:&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Development experience in team environment with mid to high end projects from inception through delivery.​&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Assistance in preparation of project proposals, including client and vendor meetings&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, between both the customer and all levels within the organization&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Analytical and problem solving capability with proven experience in technology leadership roles&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Proven ability to identify and define solutions and develop pragmatic and practical solutions&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Bachelor&amp;#8217;s degree&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Ability to travel up to 50%​-75%​  in the Southeast Region&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10; &#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;Additional knowledge desired by not required:&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Excel integration /​ BI capabilities of Office 2007&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Reporting Services Integration /​deployment&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Business Objects  /​Oracle BI (including Hyperion)&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·         Visio, ERwin or similar data modeling tools&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Other non Microsoft database platform and &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;ETL&lt;/span&gt; experience, including Oracle, DataStage&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Knowledge of consulting /​ project management methodologies&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        Knowledge of other 3rd party BI Tools&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;·        SharePoint  and or Performance Point integration/​ deployment&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://reedrecruitment.com/job/527/bi-consultant-at-reed-recruitment/&quot;&gt;Apply to this job&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</description>
