QA Web Tester

Position available in Miami FL for a QA Web Tester.
Job Description:
Perform procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services of the company's websites meet minimum company standards and end-user requirements.
Responsible for planning and executing tests and quality assurance for Internet/eCommerce business to consumer systems.
Team up with Analyst to support the business by ensuring that all problems and issues are addressed in a professional and timely manner.
Skill Requirements:
Ability to translate business requirements and functional specifications into test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Work closely with Operations Managers, Developers, and Testing team members.
Ability to create a test plan, documenting the test strategy and approach.
Create and execute test scripts and manual test cases.
Identify requirements gaps to ensure proper operational and testing coverage.
Have experience managing support defects and enhancement requests.
Use defined tools, Quality Center, to report and track issues identified to resolution.
Be a valuable contributor on the web quality assurance team.
Provide written and verbal communication such as status reports, progress reports and documentation to team leads.
Must be a local resident of Florida.

Desired Skills:
Solid knowledge of Testing and Software development life cycle methodologies and/or best practices
Advance PC Skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Visio, Automated Testing Tools
Issues tracking tools
Preferred Education, Certification, Training:
5+ years experience testing of web based applications using manual methodologies, specifically browser based applications.
Experience in all phases of application development life cycle, specifically Quality Assurance Testing Skills.
·3+ years of combined website/eCommerce experience, preferably in the travel industry.
