This is an excellent opportunity to work as a
Corporate Accounting Manager
with a leading direct marketer and distributor of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) products. This is a full time, permanent position with full benefits and we are looking to interview and hire as soon as possible.
DETAILS & DUTIES:
* Reporting to Director of Financial Reporting· Manage Accounting Staff
· Manage monthly closing process
· Ensure timely closing process to meet company reporting deadlines, including general ledger account reconciliations
· P&L and Balance Sheet review for completeness, accuracy, and in accordance with GAAP
· Responsible for all accounting systems (JDE and GL Real Time – Security Access, Report Writer, and Budget modules)
· Manage internal reporting and analysis process
· Lead roll out of Real Time Executive Console
· Manage day to day accounting operations
· Assist in SEC reporting through guidance from Director of Financial Reporting
· Lead quarter reviews and annual audit process with external auditors
· Other special projects as determined by management
* Will have 5 direct reports – all at the Staff Accountant levelQUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have CPA * Minimum 7 years experience with both public accounting firm and corporate accounting experience * Must have excellent Excel spreadsheet skills, verbal and written communication skills, and previous management experience * JD Edwards experience is a plus * Must understand and worked with GAAP * Experience with 10-Q forms * Experience with 10-K forms * Must have ADVANCED excel experience * Must have strong communication skills * Current or prior management experience a must have * Must be able to manage calendars and deadlinesViewed: 193 times
