Job Description
Brilliance is looking to hire a full time experienced and highly motivated PHP Programmer/Developer immediately. We are seeking a well-rounded engineer with attention to detail and the ability to think through complex problems. The candidate will be developing and building Brilliance’s new e-commerce website from the ground up.
Candidates should be results-oriented and possess strong technical, leadership, analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently while still functioning as part of a team.
Required Skills
- Web-site development/architecture experience with PHP in a LAMP environment
- PHP Programmer
- PHP Developer
- MYSQL (both knowledge and experience)
- LINUX, APACHE
- XHTML, CSS, DIV’s, W3C Standards
- JAVASCRIPT, AJAX
- Web Application / Services integration (XML, XSL, SOAP)
- Ability to produce clearly written and documented code
- E-commerce and Shopping Cart development
Experience & Qualifications
- 3 + years experience as a programmer/developer
- Proven experience developing professional B2B and B2C web sites (full project life cycle)
- Experience with web development based on open source platforms
- Experience and understanding of cross browser compatibility issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Math or other related field.
We are not interested in candidates working remotely, only full time and in house. Salary will be based on candidate’s skills and experience.
