Located in Tampa Florida, Agilysys has an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect (Pseries). You will work out of your home office and provide technical support to Agilysys Solution Sales Reps at client sites in the local Tampa territory.
The selected candidate will be a seasoned professional with a demonstrated track record of 10+ years of experience in developing effective customer solutions. Agilysys Senior Solution have the ability to understand customer requirements and translate complex business problems into efficient IT solutions. Customer facing needs analysis and requirements gathering is required.
A Senior Solution Architect requires a high level of professional skills demonstrated by a consultative approach to customer engagements. Superior listening, written and verbal communication skills are essential. Effective teamwork and collaboration are critical to the SA’s success. A concern with high quality deliverables and an appropriate sense of urgency at fulfilling customer requirements is necessary. The SA will operate at all levels of the client from engineer to CTO.
Large account experience is highly desired for this position.
Candidates for the Solutions Architect position will satisfy the following skill requirements:
* Expertise with the installation and updating of AIX * Knowledge of portioning and VIO * Knowledge of System p product line and virtualization technologies * Experience with System p consolidation and Infrastructure engineering * Expertise with Sun Solaris is a bonusAdditional Skills Desired:
