The principal role of the Testing Manager is to ensure that all work products are of excellent quality and compliant with all national patient safety standards. This includes management of and improving the quality of our current testing process, developing standards and processes for testing & monitoring, producing testing reports and metrics, creating and coordinating all planning, scheduling, effort estimation and resource forecasting for testing across the life cycle of the Electronic Medical Record (BEACON) project.
Additional responsibilities will include management activities (staff supervision and career development), executive reporting and project sourcing when needed. This position must understand the functionality of Clinical Electronic Medical Record and have a strong understanding of best practices in the testing of clinical processes.
BS/BA IS or related field required, Masters degree preferred, Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA); Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE); Quality Improvement Associate Certification (CQIA); Certified Test Manager (CTM); Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) preferred ; seven years testing experience required; three years Healthcare Clinical testing preferred;
Extensive background in performance testing methodologies; ability to develop comprehensive performance test packages are required.
