Accounting Manager
We seek an experienced Accounting Manager with the acumen to quickly learn the nuances of our business and step into a leadership position on our team. Position will supervise staff of 7 and will be responsible for all general accounting functions. Position reports directly to Corporate Controller.
Responsibilities include:
· Prepare monthly consolidated Balance Sheets, Income Statements and Statements of Cash Flows.
· Supervise, develop and coach staff members
· Prepare and record U.S. GAAP journal entries on a monthly basis and perform account analysis and events analysis.
· Coordinate the annual audit with external CPA firm.
· Prepare budgets for parent and subsidiaries.
· Maintain documentation to meet SOX standards.
· Provide Corporate Accounting information for SEC reporting.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and CPA designation; 7+ years of related work experience preferred; 2+ years supervisory experience preferred; experience working with a national public accounting firm strongly desired.
The successful candidate will possess excellent attention to detail; PC proficiency (MS Excel, Word); the ability to work under pressure of deadlines; the ability to work in a team environment. SEC reporting and Consolidation experience also preferred.
