About the Job
Will be required to manage large-scale, mission-critical IT programs.
System analyst for Solaris 8, 9, and 10 administration tasks responsible for administering, installing, configuring and maintaining the organization's UNIX environments. Primary function is supporting Sun servers supporting Oracles databases. Additional responsibilities include analyzing and resolving problems associated with servers; evaluating and integrating new operating system version, drivers and hardware testing software updates and patches; assisting with the selection, testing and integration of new technologies including implementation of new hardware and software solutions and upgrades; monitoring and turning the system to achieve optimum improvement for system software performance, availability and reliability.
Requires an industry standard certification in a relevant information technology field.
Requires 8 years experience; a Bachelor's degree +4 years experience may be substituted.
This position requires worldwide travel supporting multiple military customers, some deployments may be up to 90 days.
