full time DB2 CICS Mainframe Specialist

We are recruiting for a Mainframe Specialist with extensive DB2 and CICS experience.​ This opportunity is located in our National Technology Center in Boca Raton, Florida. ​ This is a full time opportunity with benefits starting the first day of employment.​ We will depend on your analytical skills, technical and leadership abilities, creativity and initiative, working in a team environment.​

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Analyze, code, test, and maintain complex mainframe processing applications.​ * Analyze user requirements.​ Prepare designs and specifications for new or revised applications or programs.​ Coordinates single projects.​ * Codes complex processes using strong technical or application knowledge and database expertise, and performs system integration tasks.​ * Performs testing and coordinates testing activities.​ * Coordinates and assists lower level MIS personnel with analysis, programming problems and debugging.​ Provides production coverage and assists lower level personnel in same on a 24-hour, 7-day basis.​ * Assists in the formulation and documentation of test plans and project plans and reviews test results.​

REQUIREMENTS:

* Full life cycle development with at least 9 years DB2 and CICS.​ * In-depth knowledge of DBS, CICS, COBOL, JCL, DB2 database tools.​ * In-depth experience with relational database and SQL.​ * Knowledge of DB2 stored procedures a plus.​ * Knowledge of DB2 table design a plus.​ * Excellent written and verbal communications skills.​ * College degree preferred.​

COMPENSATION: Our competitive compensation plan offers a base salary plus annual bonus earning potential targeted at 15%​ of base salary up to 22.​5%​ of base salary.​
