full time Fuel Distribution System Operator

Description
Initial training will be in West Palm Beach, FL. Ultimately, this position is located on Andros Island, Bahamas.
Responsible for performing a variety of functions to ensure rapid response to and for Fueling operations at Sites 1-4 including maintenance and readiness of equipment used on the AUTECProject.
Essential Job Functions

* Provide essential operational functions at the AUTEC Fuel facility * Observe and interpret fuel readings on gauges, meters, and charts, adjusting controls to insure safe and efficient operation of the system. * Operate and maintains filtration equipment, metering, and all control valves associated with the fuel farm. * Operate and inspect various equipments to diagnose defects, making minor calibration adjustments as needed. * Maintain various logs of fueling operation and maintenance records. * Prepare monthly use reports. * Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications

* High school diploma * Minimum of five (5) years related experience working in the operation and/or maintenance of a bulk fuel farm. * POL distribution, spill mitigation, and disposal experience preferred, although plumbing or industrial repair experience may be substituted. * Valid Drivers License and passport will be required.

Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance.

Other Qualifications

* Knowledge of various equipment used in POL distribution. * Pass physical examinations as required. * Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 70 pounds of equipment or materials concerns * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Must be able to reside in remote location with limited medical facilities.
