Description
Initial training will be in West Palm Beach, Florida. Ultimately this position is located on Andros Island, Bahamas.
Responsible for performing handling, preparation, post run of MK-30 Mobile Targets and associated equipment in accordance with NAVSEA guidelines for the AUTEC Project.
Essential Job Functions

* Post run and trouble shooting of MK-30 Mod 1 Underwater Targets including MK-139 Mod O Battery Activation Procedures per SW581-270/MK30 Volume 4 Part 23 * Battery Preparation and Post Run Procedures per SW581-C1-MMI-280/MK30 Volume 4 Part 24 * ABBC Automated Charging Systems Procedures per SW581-CO-MMI-070/MK30 Volume 7 * Battery Drain Discharge and Capacity Test Procedures per SW581-C1-MMI-290/MK30 Volume 4 part 25 * MK-30 Mod 1 Target Preparation Procedures per SW581-C1-MMI-450/MK30 Volume 4 Part 41 * Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications

* AA/AS degree in Electronics or equivalent * One (1) year related experience working in Electronic /Electrical Technology environment. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a certificate for MK-30 Target of Operations Course and Crane Operations Overhead Cat 3 Course within one year of hire. * Valid Drivers License and passport will be required.

Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance
Other Qualifications

* Digital and analog troubleshooting skills required * Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds of material * Pass a physical exam yearly for or as required * Excellent communications skills to interface with all levels of personnel in a multi-cultural team-oriented environment * Analytical to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems * Attention to details * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Must be able to reside in remote location with limited medical facilities
