BPO Operations Director
REQUIRED:

* In-depth experience with Workers Comp and Commercial Lines * Willingness to relocate to work out of our Sarasota, FL office (unless candidate already resides in that area)

A reputation for the ability to manage conflict effectively, an appreciation for team work, and a focus on innovation that improves business results.
Preferred Background:

* 10-15 years insurance company operations management * Deep customer service and underwriting knowledge * Track record of managing accounting staff and billing operations * Preferred prior management of division of at least 50-100 clerical staff with multiple managers reporting to director

Insurance Knowledge:

* In-depth experience with Workers Comp and Commercial Lines

Leadership skills:

* Ability to discuss business issues with clients. Demonstrates track record of developing close relationships with customers / agents * Ability to discuss and recommend workflow changes and operations strategy with client * Hire/fire authority – identify good candidates and place in correct position. * Experience managing clerical operations in multiple physical locations around the US * Ability to work with India operations team as well as domestic teams * Ability to work with other teams for overall efficient process flow, including accounting, business analysts, phone support, IVR support, disaster recovery backup team, technical staffs * Experience in acquisition of new business and support for marketing efforts to acquire new customers

Technical skills:

* Microsoft Office Suite * Management and monitoring of compliance to service standards and production of service standards reports * Sponsor Six Sigma or Six Sigma Lite projects * Management/oversight of Pay for Performance program * Financial analysis of expenses, identification and resolution of issues * Financial planning, including staff level planning and impact on expenses * Full P&L authority with corresponding CSC business responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

* Directs the organization and performance of certain functional areas and the activities of senior managers. Provides staff direction with an understanding and following of established company policies and procedures. * Oversees business activities to ensure a high standard of professional excellence is maintained among staff members. * Directs business function including, approval of overall project plan, budgets, and work breakdown structure. * Establishes and implements short- and long-term strategies to deliver services to customers within reasonable schedules and budgets. * Establishes and communicates goals and objectives, defines methodologies, tasks, and activities, and clearly describes roles and responsibilities for performing to personnel. Communicates broadly to help ensure overall coordination for cross-functional teams. * P&C

Qualification

Basic Qualifications

* Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * Master’s degree in related field preferred * Fourteen or more years of related experience * Nine or more years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity included * Experience working with the past and present CSC business environment * Experience working with concepts, practices, and procedures in areas of responsibility * Experience working with the management implications of various forms of financial data

Other Qualifications

* Strong communication skills needed to interface with high-level customer representatives * Strong strategic management and planning skills * Ability to publicly represent company with internal and external clients * Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution * MUST be willing to relocateto work inour offices inSarasota, Florida. * Ability to travel occassionallyrequired (less than 25% travel).
