The Systems Engineering Group of QinetiQ North America delivers systems engineering and integration,
software development, logistics information management, training systems management, information technology services, and test and evaluation
support for the development, modification, fielding and sustainment of military equipment and systems. The Groups primary focus is at
the operating force level and military buying commands.

Under general supervision, defines system requirements, scope and objectives through research, fact-finding and analysis. Prepares requirements from which design specifications will be written. Prepares functional process charts describing existing and proposed operations and routine logic flow charts. May develop solutions for interlinked systems (e.g. software, hardware, telecommunications and networks). Must have good communication skills and be a team player. Requires strong problem solving skills.

Qualifications
Education: Generally requires a Bachelors degree and 5 or more years of related systems analysis experience including two (2) or more years of programming experience. Additional experience may be required for specific positions. Typical substitution for education requirement: Two (2) years related experience substitutes for Associates degree; four (4) years related experience substitutes for Bachelors degree.
Experience: Three (3) years experience in the analysis or design of business or scientific application of computer systems and networks. Skilled and experienced with requirements elicitation and development, functional analysis and decomposition and preliminary design. Preliminary design skills should include formal systems specification skills
