Enterprise Technical Support Manager
We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Manager who will be managing a team of Support Technicians who support enterprise software solutions via the email/phone. These anti-spam, anti-virus, and anti-spyware solutions are developed in-house. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of managing experienced technicians and familiarity with support for mission critical environments.
Responsibilities
· Management of a team of approximately 30 technicians in a 24/7 environment for break fix support services.
· Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
· Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
· Analyzing and improving productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
· Improve department quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.
· Improve and monitor customer satisfaction.
Requirements
· 10+ years of technical experience with 5+ years in a management role.
· Proven successful track record of technical support management including: selecting talent, organizational development, & performance management.
· Solid understanding of computer and network technologies, and protocols in LAN/WAN environments.
· Experience driving strategy for a technical department and meeting specific improvements and objectives.
· Extensive experience working directly with customers in critical situations.
· Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and to adapt easily to change, ability to maintain positive attitude while working under pressure and strict timelines.
· Driven, self-motivated, with a strong work ethic, an individual who has a passion for customer satisfaction.
