Job Description:
We are currently hiring an OLAP Business Analyst / Reporting Analyst for a 6+ month contract in Tampa, FL. This position is with a major Healthcare client and they are reviewing resumes immediately.
The candidate will function as the primary Information Technology representative to business staff, liaising for IT with internal customers, representing information obtained from business units, serving to understand and document business needs, translating specifications for requested deliverables, and assuring accurate implementation of specification to meet business needs. The role is responsible for defining reporting requirements as well as identifying, transparently documenting, and/or resolving reporting discrepancies of business concern. This person is going to be meeting with internal clients to design reports and must understand the development lifecycle.
Strong business analysis skills and background in a Microsoft environment are required. Candidates also must possess four to five years of experience in information systems, including significant experience with health care data. Expert experience is needed in SQL, configuring OLAP data structures, and with report generation software. The ability to ask discerning questions to assure that deliveries meet customer expectations is critical. Successful experience in a customer support role and project management is necessary. Report writing/development is also required with either SSRS or Performance Point, as this is a heavy reporting position.
