Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Director – Product Engineering.
Major Responsibilities:
* Manage engineering, QA, and customer support departments * Enhance and enforce companies existing software development life cycle processes and procedures * Provide leadership for helping to set policy and a healthy culture * Work closely with other departments within the organization to meet division and company goalsRequirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar 4-year degree * Minimum of 15 years of experience working in the software development industry with demonstrable progression of responsibilities and management roles * Experience managing the full software development life cycle including analysis, development, and quality assurance * Full understanding of standard software development methodologies and processes * Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills * Working knowledge of software architecture approaches including service and object oriented * Knowledge of property appraisal and taxation is a plus, but not required * Extensive business travel is required * May require extended work schedules, tight deadlines and conflicting priorities * Must be able to work in a variety of social, cultural, legal, and political environments * Sitting, eye sight, using hands/fingers, talking, hearing, occasionally lifting up to 25# * Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance
