Sr. Java Developer with Hibernate and Springs

Responsibilities:
The position is for an experienced development role within an application enterprise framework development team reporting into the manager of the Enterprise Architecture program. The application engineer will need to show expertise in component and service architecture and have strong knowledge of the Java language/J2EE and Eclipse IDE including Spring and Hibernate. The individual will be accountable for application development of components and services developed from a standard set of blueprints. These reusable enterprise components will be consumed by project teams and developed under the guidance of an Enterprise Application Architect.
Experienced leadership role in mentoring a development/scrum team in consuming components and services.
Understanding of Agile and Scrum development methods
Extensive application development experience with JAVA 5 applications
Provide technical and professional assistance to other ARC staff members
Ability to work within a team and matrixed environment.
Ability to develop and adhere to JAVA coding standards.
Qualifications:
JAVA design and implementation for at least 4-6 years (Required). Knowledge of Java 5 preferred.
Minimum of 4-6 years of application programming development experience in design and construction utilizing J2EE. (Required)
Minimum of 3 years Spring - Knowledge of Spring 2.5, Webflow 2, Spring Security. (Required).
Knowledge of Maven/Nexus/Hudson.
Minimum 3 years of Hibernate (Required) - knowledge of Hibernate 3.3 preferred.
Highly knowledgeable in modular-based component design and development and component life cycles. (Required)
Knowledge of OSGI
Web Services Implementation. - Spring WS.
Abstract design and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of BEA WebLogic application server.
Sun Java Developer Certification. (Optional)
Extensive experience with unit testing, Use of JUnit, fitness and other xUnit testing tools.
Experience in team leadership and technical mentoring of developers
Experience with Oracle
Knowledge writing SQL/PL SQL
Broad knowledge of UNIX and UNIX commands
Ability to work with the data modelers/QA team
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science required or equivalent work experience.
Travel industry experience preferred
