The Lead/ Senior Analyst/Developer (Object Oriented Applications) performs systems analysis, design, integration, programming, documentation and implementation of applications that are administrative or business oriented in nature using current site installed versions of Object Oriented development tools such as Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, Visual C++. Develops Object Oriented applications using hypertext development scripting languages such as C++, Active X, SmallTalk, Java, .net, etc. Participates in all phases of software development with emphasis on the integration, programming, testing, documentation and acceptance phases. Applies object modeling standards for development such as COBRA, DCE, and OLE/DCOM to technical problems to arrive at automated solutions. May have responsibility for assisting in configuration and installation of Object Oriented tools and languages on developer microcomputer configurations.

New Hire and Rehire candidates for this position will be offered the LMOS benefit program. Internal candidates for this position will be able to retain their current benefit program if they are participating in the LMOS, LMES or Corporate benefit programs currently. Other internal candidates will be offered the LMOS benefit program.

Qualifications:
General – The Lead/ Senior Analyst/Developer (Object Oriented Applications) should possess five (5) years within the last five (8) calendar years of experience in an environment of significant ADP systems development activity for administrative and business related computer systems applications development and analysis.

Specialized – The Analyst/Developer (Object Oriented Applications) should possess two years within the past four (4) calendar years of intensive and progressive experience in the design and development of AIS applications using Object Oriented Technology.

Please note that General and Specialized Work Experience may be earned concurrently.

Educational Requirements – The Analyst/Developer (Object Oriented Applications) should possess a 4-year bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a curriculum or major field of study which either (1) provides substantial knowledge useful in managing large, complex Automated Information System (AIS) projects,(2) is closely related to the work to be automated, or (3) is in Computer Science, a physical science or a mathematics-intensive discipline.

Task Leadership – May be required to serve as a Task Leader.
