Job Functions

Paralegal/​Legal Assistant:

* Assist legal counsel with the following: * Must be Bilingual English- Spanish * Prepare sales contracts in accordance with the contract request sent by Sales Manager for various company customers.​ o Work with the Billing Manager to prepare customer disconnect notices on accounts that are past due.​ o Assist with property, liability and company auto insurance matters (i.​e.​, prepare renewal documents for company-wide insurance policies.​ Maintain files regarding insurance policies.​ o Prepare confidentiality agreements.​ o Prepare, manage and administrate various agreements and documents.​ o Maintain and organize customer and vendor files in the virtual file room (the “vault” (i.​e.​, files related to the various cable systems and supplier contracts regarding the company’s business) o Maintain hard files of all Company matters including corporate and commercial files o [Handle the implementation, creation and organization of a virtual data room for a special project of the Company’s parent company and its subsidiaries] [SR: do not need to add this to the job description] o Assist with the due diligence process with regard to Company acquisitions (including managing the virtual data room, organizing and preparing documentation and editing/​creating acquisition agreement schedules.​ o Maintain and organize the company’s corporate files o Maintain and organize the company’s trademark files o Legalize POA and legal documents according to the requirements of each jurisdiction outside the US.​ o Assist with obtaining signatures of the company for various corporate documents relating to the company’s business.​ o Administrative Assistant: + Order the coffee supplies for the office + With the assistance of janitorial clerk, order and set out lunch for corporate meetings held in the office + Arrange for cleaning company to cover in janitorial clerk’s absence + Order janitorial supplies needed for the office + Assist architectural company managing the office renovations with obtaining and facilitating title work and various documentation required by the City Clerk’s office.​ + Prepare expense reports for the President of the Company and Legal Counsel + Must be Bilingual English- Spanish.​
