seeking a college graduate possessing an exceptional GPA and a degree in the Computer Science and Information Technology field for a challenging contract opportunity in Jacksonville, FL with one of our most exciting clients.
This position is a technical design leadership role supporting a broad range of application initiatives.
Candidates Must Possess the Following Skills for Consideration:
- Requires a broad technical background with Internet and Intranet technologies, including the ability to create conceptual architecture diagrams
- Web hosting / web administration experience (IIS, MTS, J2EE, Java, Weblogic, Websphere, I-planet, Windows, AIX, Solaris, and Linux)
- Some development experience (Java, ASP, .NET, etc.)
- Knowledge of database technologies and interfaces
- An understanding of Network infrastructure (HTTP, TCP, DNS, Load-balancers)
- Documentation skills utilizing a variety of supporting design tools (MS Office, MS Visio, etc.) and online project- tracking and time-keeping systems
- A customer service-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide effective cross-team leadership over the phone, including articulating proposed solutions to technical and business teams
- Initiative and a self-starter mentality with ability and desire to positively influence others
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead the design (Analyze) phase of a project
